Proxee Tours
A brochure website with automated email responses and blog publishing through Sanity CMS.
Proxee Tours is a brochure site for a New Zealand tour operator, built with Next.js and TypeScript, styled with Tailwind CSS, and deployed to Cloudflare Workers through OpenNext. Content lives in Sanity, with the Studio embedded in the app so the owners publish tours and travel guides themselves. Pages are cached in Workers KV and revalidate daily, and a Sanity webhook clears the matching tag in D1 on publish, so edits go live without a rebuild.
Enquiry forms run as server actions validated with Zod, screened by Turnstile and a rate limiter, then delivered through Resend with a confirmation email back to the guest. The fiddliest part was caching: OpenNext sets s-maxage headers that assume a CDN sits in front of the app, which let browsers serve stale HTML for weeks, so the Worker is wrapped to rewrite them and make every visit revalidate.
